Yeah…a successful first day of school for the Charelston County district.  Now the homework begins as well as the after school athletic practices. That’s okay…we are ready to have a great season!  It seems that the kids had fun seeing their friends again.  Thats a good sign!

Fun on the Waterway!

By Suzi | August 11, 2008

Even though school is about to start, it didn’t stop people from having a good time on the Intracoastal Waterway.  As I sat on my dock over the weekend I couldn’t help but notice the number of boats pulling skiers, tubes and wakeboarders up and down the Waterway.  With plenty of sunshine and glassy water, who wouldn’t have a fun time on the Isle of Palms!  All I could hear were the soothing hums of outboard motors followed by music and laughter.  What a terrific place to live…a little piece of paradise!
